To test the effectiveness of the Cascade Complete Actionpacs and to *jump-start* my neglected oven
, I participated in this Cascade 24 hour challenge and Walmart Mart Gift Card giveaway.
Step 1: Make a Blueberry Cobbler! I like the Blueberry Crisp recipe from the Food Network but made some modifications: I precooked the blueberries a little, increased the toppings by half, and replaced pecan with walnut. Turned out yummy and finished by the family in less than 24 hour!
Step 2: Leave the dish out for 24 hour
Step 3: Put into the dishwasher and add the Cascade Complete Pac and here’s the result – sparking clean except a couple hardly noticeable small dots (red, circled). Very good result I must say, without any pre-washing or pre-greasing of the pan!

The blueberry cobbler is pretty messy. So is lasagna!
I’m sorry I forgot to state that I follow you on Twitter @mami2jcn.
I follow you on facebook. Baked on items are hard to remove and I usually have to scrub and scrub with baking soda to get it off!
The toughest stain for me is Baked Enchilda Casserole, I usually soak it overnight, cross my fingers and start scrubbing. I think I’ll try using the Cascade Complete the next time.
i have your website bookmarked and read via email. i like to make chocolate cake in a mug. it often sticks to the cup and makes brown stain. i have soak with hot water and dish detergent for an hour. then scrub with a special baby bottle brush. sometimes i also need to use baking soda paste or ajax/comet paste. it’s a quick yummy dessert but a pain to clean up.
I am a subscriber via e-mail. I think the toughest for me is a chicken & rice casserole. No matter how much cooking spray I use, it just won’t come off. (By the way, I love those Cascade Complete Pacs – easy to use & work great!).
I read all your posts on Google Reader. I hate the brown cooked on oil stains I get on whenever I use cooking spray. I can usually remove them with steel wool but it takes a lot of arm muscle.
My blackberry cobbler is messy along with my slobernocker porkchopes

Your blueberry cobbler looks yummy! I am following on Twitter.

It’s not necessarily bakeware, but I cooked some Persian fesenjan since I love Ali Baba’s special. However, pomegranate molasses left a super hard-to-remove stains in my cast iron pot. I ended up soaking it with dish soap for a couple of days with lots of scrubbing in between.
I eat oatmeal sometimes for breakfast and don’t get the bowl to the sink right away, so oatmeal sticks in the bowl badly! I soak it in hot water first for a few hrs, then scrub with the hard side of the sponge. I have your site bookmarked.
I am a fanatic Facebook follower of your blog (and have passed it along to many grateful friends).
Baked ziti was the absolute hardest “stain” I have ever encountered. Repeated washings and soakings was my remedy… sure would have been nice to have an easier way to get all that baked cheese off!!

I love to look at all the savings u have done and I try them out also.I would have to say beefEnchildas with rice on top and some cream of chicken and you will need to soak to dish in hot sope water and then repite in a day that a lots of water and time wasted trying to get it clean thanks
Followed you on twitter. The toughest thing I had ever tried to remove from a bakeware had to be Madelines. I easily removed it by using PAM, but I had tried it before and it made the cookies worse. I wonder why it worked that time. I had never have a stain problem with my bakewares… they work great!
My biggest chalenge is lasagne. No matter how long you let the pan soak the baked on cheese never comes off without scrubbing really long and hard. I follow this site on facebook and email.
I follow you on Facebook and Twitter. The hardest stains for me are those orange-brown oil stains, I’ve learned to just use parchment paper to protect my bakeware and prevent sore arms from all that scrubbing.
I’m an e-mail subscriber and the one stain that’s toughest to remove for me is cheese baked onto dishes, I scrub a lot using lots of dish detergent and by soaking overnight.
Feed reader.
i subscribe via email and facebook. your cobbler looks yummy! i find that baked on crusts are the worst….either a dessert, like cobbler or something like chicken pot pie with a bisquick-type crust – especially if there is cheese involved!! i use cascade action pacs….they’re so easy…even the hubby can use them!!

beef stew casserole is the toughest, I ended up leave the minimum stains on.
I follow you on Facebook.
I think the hardest thing to get out is anything pasta and sauce related like my penne pasta bake. I typically have to scrape as much out as I can, soak it for several hours, then try to scrape at it again. Such hard work, but thankfully the food is usually well worth it!

Um, I was gonna say lasagna but I really think that anything my husband sends is probably the messiest.

Probably the toughest stain I usually get is when I cooked baked spaghetti. When I cook this dish I usually have to soak the dish for a few hours using hot soapy water.

I usually have a hard time with burned food in my crockpot, which I usually end up soaking to remove them!
