by Lee on May 12, 2010 · 2 comments

Safeway’s “Buy 4, Save $4″ deals on cereal is not to be missed, combined with Kelloggs and Post Cereal Catalina (I’ve confirmed today)

Kelloggs Cereals Catalina (5/1-5/14)
Buy (3), get $2

Buy (4), get $3
Buy (5) or more, get $4

Post Cereal Catalina (through 5/16)
Buy (4), get $3
Buy (5) or more, get $4

Tips: To avoid sugary cereals overload, we mix low sugar cereals (e.g. corn flakes, cheerios) with the sugary ones. :)

Buy (4) Kelloggs Corn Flakes $1.00 (after buy 4 save $4)
-(2) $1/2 ANY Kelloggs Cereal or
-(2) $1/2 ANY Kelloggs Cereal (note: there’s another coupon with more restriction, but one with ANY)
Total due = $2, get back $3 Catalina – FREE and $1 money maker!

Other cereals included in the Buy 4, save $4 deals (check store tags):

  • Quaker Cap’n Crunch, Quaker Life Cereals, Cheerios, Froot Loops, Quaker Chewy Granola Bars, Post Honey Bunches of Oats, GM Reese’s Puffs, Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal

can you “roll the deal” at safeway, i.e., use the same catalina coupon to buy 4 more boxes and get another coupon?

Yes Yvonne, in this case, you can. The catalinas are just like “Safeway money”.

I’ve seen some exception (I think some P&G catalina has that fine print) I’ll still check the catalina to make sure.
