Smart Ones Safeway Deal – 12 Meals for $4

This deal has the potential to clear out the shelves – make sure to leave some for fellow couponers ok!!

Smart Ones are on sale for $2.5 each at Safeway, use these coupons to get a GREAT deal combining the Safeway Healthy Heart coupon book and the Safeway $10 Catalina on Frozen Food.

You can try various iterations using these dollars off coupons

$4/10, $5/10 or $1/5 (NOTE: Pick one of those to print – it seems that if you’re already printed lets say the $4/10, you can’t print the $5/10 again) or $3/10 Smart Ones SS 1/10

Buy 10 Smart Ones, 1 Smart Ones Breakfast, 1 Smart Ones Flatbread ($30)
$5/10 Smart Ones Printable
-(3) $2/4 Safeway Healthy Heart Coupon book
-$2.5 from Buy 3 Smart Ones, Get a Breakfast Free SS 1/10
-$2.5 from Buy 3 Smart Ones, Get a Flatbread Free SS 1/10
Total = $14, get back $10 Catalina
Pay $4 for 12 meals

Update: I tried this deal (3/4), and here’s my experience:

The Safeway $2/4 coupons and the free one coupons all “beep” and required action from the cashier, those have no problems. When she scanned the $5/10 (last) and the register said “value exceeded”. A manager overwrote it, because they saw that I have 12 products and the $5/10 should work fine on the 10 and the free ones on the two others. They were nice about it, though, YMMV (your mileage may vary) depending on your checker/manager.

I’d suggest giving your cashier/checker the $5/10 first and it might go smoother for you!

Great Deal Lee! I almost past the coupons booklets up, they are smaller then I thought.
Valerie, if you can’t find them send me an email with your address, I’ll send some to you.

Valerie, I found them at the W. Davis Safeway last week, at the cereal aisle – there were multiple hanger shelves with them. Haven’t been there these few days so hopefully they’re still available, or ask customer service?

I was able to print both the $5/10 & $4/10 with no problem?

I did it today, and the 5.00/10 also beeped, but the cashier was SUPER sweet. She just made the coupon 4 .99 instead and it went straight thru! :)
