For 15 hours only, get a 1-year family membership to Oakland Zoo for $40, that’s over 50% off from $85! Adult fee is $11 alone, and you got free parking and 8 free rides.  After you purchase the membership, you’ll receive a coupon by e-mail to redeem the membership by September 2010. Looks like you can also get the membership package through mail by filling in this form.

  • Unlimited admission at the Oakland Zoo for up the two named, cardholding, adults (18 and up) and any 4 children (2-17)
  • Free parking at The Oakland Zoo for one vehicle
  • Free guest pass (1 time use) for 2 adults and 2 children at The Oakland Zoo
  • Free (8) coupons for rides
  • Free admission to our Members’ Nite event and subscription to Roar! the Zoo’s newsletter
  • Discounts at the gift shop, for Zoo Camp, birthday parties, for Walk in the Wild, ZooLights, and other special events
  • Discount to 125 zoos & aquariums nationwide (50% San Francisco Zoo, Sacramento Zoo, Aquarium by the Bay, Lindsay Wildlife Museum)

We LOVE the Oakland Zoo and was beating ourselves up why we didn’t join – they have all the big animals – elephants, giraffe, lions, and more, AND ski-chair type skyride, and various make believe animals for the kids to climb on, or “pretend” to be a rabbit and went through tunnels. If you have a preschooler or toddler, it’s not a place to be missed! Also there’s a little carnival type “playground”, similar to the Funderland outside Sacramento Zoo.

Also the zoo is situated on a rolling hill and you got an excellent view of the entire city from the top of the hill, through a $1 train ride.

Thanks slickdeals, and those of you who let me know!!

Hi Lee, Looks like it’s sold out online but do you know if you can still get the offer if you mail in the form?

dang i should have mentioned this during bc yesterday, I meant to! This was a very limited time offer and only valid on the savvy source website (and even during those times, over 5000 people brought the membership!)

I think Explorit should do something like that too..
