The California Duck Days is this weekend, Feb 19-Feb 20, supported by the Yolo Basin Foundation. It’s an annual celebration of wildlife and wetland, with field trips, children’s activities and more, For activities and workshop on-site, the cost is $20. Ticket for 1 Field Trip (includes On-site Activities/Workshops) = $23.00 per adult, and two field trip is $25 (children 16 and under FREE with adult ticket). We’ve been wanting to attend this event for several years and hopefully we could make it this time!
A gala reception and Wildlife Art Show will launch the festivities on Friday evening, Feb 19 at the Davis Arts Center, 5:30 to 7:30pm (free to the public). I was at the Davis Arts Center yesterday to see the Wildlife Art Exhibition and was blown away! They’re all “duck/water fowl” related art work by young artist (high school and under), simply amazing and breathing. The exhibit is free during Davis Arts Center hours.
