Note: If your catalina didn’t print, call the catalina company, see this post.
Use printable Pillsbury coupons at coupons.com, or various Sunday coupon inserts from: 11/8, 11/22, 11/15, 12/6, 1/3, or printable coupons from Pillsbury.com, and combine with e-coupons from cellfire and shortcuts
My transaction:
(2) Baby Grands Buttermilk $1.69
(2) Crescent Roll $1.69
(2) Cinnamon Rolls (sweet rolls) $1.89
Total = $10.54
E-coupons that came off, from my receipt (load e-coupons into your Club Card)
-(2) $.3 e-coupon for baby grands
-$1, $.5 e-coupon for crescent roll
-(3) $1, $.4 e-coupon for cinnamon rolls
Total e-coupons = $5.5
Paper coupons used:
-(3) $1 off two Pillsbury Safeway Simple Affordable Meals coupon book (still a lot left at my Safeway by the floral counter and bakery)
-(3) $1 off two from Pillsbury.com (update: The $1/2 are no longer available for C resent, Grands and Sweet Rolls and they’re now $.4 or $.5 off 2
)
Total paper coupons used = $6 (at this point, you’re already making money)
Get back $4 catalina (printed no problem at S Davis Safeway, aisle 3)
Total = $10.54-5.5-6-4 = Everything Free and Earned $4.96
Note: This is only part of the trip where I have over $20 in order to use the Safeway coupons (not hard, before Club Card savings and coupons). Will post about the entire trip later.
Tip 1: Buy the smaller sizes to get the most out of the coupons
Tip 2: Load ALL e-coupons into your club card, you don’t know when a good deal might come up. We don’t buy much Pillsbury baked items but I have been loading the e-coupons into the club card anyway. All unexpired e-coupons will be taken off on the same item.

Question for you…I loaded the new cellfire Q’s on a couple hours after they came out last week. Then, a couple days later it shows their are no coupons available for my area?????? and none of those new coupons were on my card??? What the heck! My mom and grandma’s cards are normal and the Q’s were available. I’ve now been waiting 4 days for a response from Cellfire!!!!!
Whooever you are – I love you. I did it and it worked!
Ashley – I’m not sure why – maybe you loaded your coupons too soon? (just joking..you’re fast!) I’d try back once in a while-maybe log out and log in again? I hope the glitch goes away for you!
Update: I just thought about this – did you enter your zip code? Maybe change the zip to a different one and change it back?
Tina – thanks for the comment, happy that it worked for you – it’s comment like yours that kept me going on the blog to share the knowledge
After I use an e-coupon loaded on my safeway club card is it gone forever? Can I use it over and over until it expires?
Tina: after you used the e-coupons it’s gone, but new ones (like the Pillsbury) will be out again in a couple weeks, you can check back cellfire and shortcuts once in a while to load them again.
Never heard of e-coupon. What is it and how does it work. Please let me know. Thank you!
Hi Thu – do you have a Safeway club card? If you do, go to http://www.cellfire.com and http://www.shortcuts.com and register your card. After you register, you could “load” e-coupons to your card (by just clicking the coupon), and when you buy the specific item at Safeway, the e-coupon amount will be deducted.
Does this deal work at Vons?
Great Job! i have done this CAT deal 4 times now I LOVE IT!
Traci: It should, since Von’s part of Safeway company. Vons/Safeway deals often overlaps. However, I’m not 100% sure, I’ll do some research on this!
