I keep posting this on lots of blogs….does no one believe me??!?!?! lol, there is a 1.50/1 peelie on some of the Nabisco 100 calorie packs—checked both my Safeways here in Roseville. That makes it a MM when you buy 5. Plus, there are new coupons from the coupon link to add to your card when you go to safeway.com including $1/2 100 Calorie packs! Maybe they are doing away with Shortcuts.com?

Ashley: you’re exactly right about the safeway.com coupon. I saw that last night and forgot to post it, modified! I’ll check on the peelies when I go tonight :)

Well I went today too and got the NV deal and the BC ruit snacks deal and my catalina’s did not print either :(

Hi Valerie, the NV deal worked for me at the W. Davis Safeway and I got $3.5 catalina buying 5 NV bar/nut clusters, looks like you should have gotten those for sure…sorry they didn’t print, sometimes the machine is not even online. People have reported in forums that the Fruit Snack catalina did print, so depending on how much you should be getting it might be worth it to call the company.

The last time Safeway has the same catalina deal (the NV and fruit snacks) Some of the catalina didn’t print for me, I have to call the company and give them information on the receipt (see the trip post for numbers), and they send me the catalina via mail along with a letter.

I’ve learned with unadvertised catalina deal like these to consider it a bonus if they print. You would never know why they didn’t: maybe the machine is offline, it’s out of paper, the deal is regional, cashier didn’t do something..who knows. But if they DO print (like the NV deal where I paid $0.2 for 5) many times you got things for free or very cheap. Also remember the free / cheap stuff is only worth your trip/effort in organizing coupons and sales if your family need them! :)

New to using coupons. Can you use more than 1 coupon for each item.

9 Lee January 21, 2010 at 11:14 am

Hi tp,

1. You can use (1) manufacturer’s coupon AND (1) Safeway coupon (in-ad coupon) per item
2. The paper coupons (manufacturer’s and Safeway in-ad coupon) can be combined with any e-coupon you load to your Safeway club card (for the same product), essentially double the savings at times.

Hope that helps!
