The official Black Friday ad for Target is up! Click on the image to access it. There are some good prices, but I am tempted to do a couple price comparisons:
- DSi System $169.9 with $20 gift card - Amazon has the same Nintendo DSi bundle for $154 (you have to click the “metallic blue” or “white”, and “bundle” to see the special price) and that’s without tax in many states, including CA.
- DVDs for $3.99, e.g. Baby Mama: Borders has that and many of the same ones for $4.99 today with a coupon (and you beat the BF crowd..)
If you’re planning to get any big ticket items, I definitely suggest checking out the different ads to get the best deals.
Though the Nikon Coolpix s203 digital camera is a pretty good deal (as of now 
) at $88 and 10 Megapixel, in my opinion Canon has better quality point-and-shoot, and their Canon PowerShot A480, also 10 Megapixel and received great reviews, is only $12 more at $100 (also no tax from Amazon!). Canon Powershot also consistently get the top reviews from Consumer Reports. Nikon is great at the professional level, but Canon is definitely ahead for the mass market models.
Anyway if you’re heading to Target this Friday and Saturday don’t forget to get a free soda at the Target cafe! Also if you’ve shopped over $100 on Friday between 5 am-noon, you’ll receive a $10 gift card.
