Get Updates on Your Library’s New Books and Movies

wowlogobDid you know about Wowbrary? When you sign up online, you’ll receive updates by e-mail or RSS feed on new additions from your local library, including latest books, (bestseller or not!), children’s videos, movies, music, and any new additions. One plus is the e-mail will also include links to Amazon.com reviews for that particular book/movie.

We’ve been using this service for months for the Sacramento library system and was very happy to be among the first to know about the new additions, and the firsts to request those for pick up! Currently the Yolo County library system is not part of this service, hopefully they’ll sign up soon.

Wowbrary is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that uses technology to help with social needs. This service really helps libraries to “advertise” their new additions that are not best sellers.
