I love that at where we are, we have access two of the best local “road-side” produce stand – Pedrick Produce and Yolo Fruits Stand. Pedrick Produce is located between Davis and Dixon, on 6850 Sievers Road, Dixon, CA 95620, next to a gas station. Look for the circular roof building.
Similar to Yolo Fruits Stand, this one carries mostly locally sourced produce, nuts, candy, etc. and PIEs! ($10.99, not a bad price with locally sourced). A lot of Pedrick’s produce are pre-packed, so they could be even cheaper than YFS’s. No organic produce I’ve noticed, however.
If you want fresh and cheap produce, this is the place! It’s always packed on the weekends.
