Coupon and Saving Tips for Tea Drinker and Best Tea in the World

It is fall, and I’d be doing everyone a disservice if I don’t do a blog post on the best drink to be sipping on a chilling morning – Chestnut Tea from Adagio, the most wonderful tea in the world! I’ve yet to meet any tea drinker who tried it, and who doesn’t love it.

iconThis is seriously the best tea, especially if you like yours with milk and sugar – I first tried it at San Francisco’s Lovejoy’s Tea House, and have fallen heads over hills in love with it. Perfect bland of tea aroma and hits of nutty flavor. I searched high and low for it online and finally found it at adagio – and discovered that it’s not some high-end $100/lb tea leaves which I can’t afford!

Also if you follow Adagio on Twitter, they”ll send you a $5 off coupon!

If you’re a tea lover, how do you save money on tea and supplies?  Here are some tips

1. Get your supplies from thrift or discounted store – I found the most amazingly beautiful, barely used English/Asian bone china, teapots, etc from our little SPCA thrift store in town.

2. Use tea leaves instead of tea bags. You save big per cup, and also the tea come out much tastier and higher quality than those from tea bags

3. Get a cheapie tea filter, if you don’t like to have any tea leaves suspending in your tea. They cost around $1. For me normal tea pot is fine, most of the small tea leaves’ debris settled out, and the bigger ones can’t get through the sprout.

Do you drink tea, and what kind do you like best?
