The Dixon, CA Walmart is having Lego Club Building Events at their store. You’ll build a different model out of Lego bricks that you can take home! Bring a friend or family member to build along side and you and they’ll receive a complimentary Lego Club membership. Here are the event dates on Saturdays, 10-2PM, while supplies last:
- August 29 – Crab
- September 19 – Pencil Holder
- October 17 – Pumpkin
If you don’t live near this store, check your local Walmart to see whether they’re participating.
Another place to attend FREE Lego Building Event is of course, the Lego Stores. The next Monthly Mini Model Building Event will be on Tuesday, October 6, where you’ll learn to build a pumpkin and take it home. Event begins at 5:00 PM, quantities are limited to around 250 per store. Check with your local stores to see whether they’re participating.
Also my local store at Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento is having a weeklong Lego Master Model Builder event to help build a 8-foot tall Lego Yoda! How fun to see a master model builder in action! Event times:
- Friday, Oct 2: 11 am – 7 pm
- Saturday, Oct 3: 10am – 6 pm
- Sunday, Oct 4: 11am – 6 pm
Location will be the Mall Center Court!
If you have a Lego lover at home, consider joining the Lego Club online. If your Lego lover is 6 or younger, they even have a junior Lego Club. One you join, not only will you receive the Lego Club magazine, but you could receive periodic notifications on events for Lego Club members!
